Host of November 11th, 2017 event

Simon Cohen is a keynote speaker, broadcaster and communications expert.

When he was 24 years old, Simon founded Global Tolerance, an international communications agency that only worked with people committed to positive social change. Over the next decade, he managed the media for the likes of the Dalai Lama, The Prince of Wales, Gandhi’s grandson, TED, the UN and even Jedi Knights - spreading positive social stories to hundreds of millions of people.

Simon was a “Pause for Thought” contributor for the “Chris Evans Breakfast Show” on BBC Radio 2 for two years, featured in the PRWeek Powerbook of the most influential people in the PR industry and honoured as an Interfaith Visionary and leading social entrepreneur.

When Simon’s wife Kate was expecting their first daughter, he decided to put the whole company on a one-year sabbatical - the first in the UK to do so. The following year, inspired by Nelson Mandela and the legacy of leadership that Simon himself wanted to leave, he famously gave away his £1m company to be a stay-at-home dad.

Simon now lives in Cornwall with Kate and his two girls, Seren and Raya. Between nappy changes and role-playing as a dinosaur-fairy-unicorn-princess, he works with a Tibetan Buddhist master, and travels the world with his family, giving talks and workshops on leadership, communications and enlightened business. A moral and social commentator in global media, Simon is a contributor to the Harvard Business Review, Entrepreneur magazine and the Huffington Post.
